About Us
Clare Gillbanks has been in marketing and running in events in one form or another for over 20 years.
Having graduated from Bournemouth University with a BA (Hons) 4 year degree in Hospitality Management in 2005, Clare then specialised in marketing and has diplomas from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM).
Her marketing career began in traditional direct marketing with Flying Flowers Ltd where Clare had the best training from industry DM experts for 5 years. This was followed by several roles in established interactive/advertising marketing agencies and clients including Black Cat (British Gas) and Modem Media (General Motors, Philips).
Clare’s career in the corporate world concluded with over 3 years at Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd as a Marketing Manager managing large scale direct marketing campaigns and working with Nectar Card data sales to leverage incremental revenue.
Having successfully launched and run her own business Meet at Last Ltd in 2003 running events and related services for the single market, she began Gemini Marketing & Event Management in 2007.
Gemini Innovations Ltd has been trading since June 2007 and the team Clare has built up include professional marketers and event specialists who can cater to all your requirements.
